The role is a varied one which will be predominantly telephone based, although you will also be spending time pitching your services to clients and interviewing candidates face-to-face. Therefore, you will need to possess excellent communication skills.

Although your primary focus will be on sales activity, the role will also involve elements of account management, customer services and consulting. Furthermore, you will need to possess strong presentation and negotiation skills.
